Research interests:

Dr. Yakes-Jimenez’ interests are in the areas of international and community nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, health/wellness policy development and implementation and evaluation of community-based programs.

Very low adequacy of micronutrient intakes by young children and women in rural Bangladesh is primarily explained by low food intake and limited diversity. Journal of Nutrition, 2013; 143: 197-203.
