Jose B. Rosales Chavez completed his undergraduate college education at the University of San Diego where he received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Spanish Literature. In 2016, he received his MPH from the University of Minnesota.

Professional Experience:

For the past 4 years, Jose has been working with different research teams. Currently, he works as a teaching assistant preparing both on-line and in-person lectures/content. As a Gates Millennium, McNair, and Leadership Alliance Scholar, Jose participated in several undergraduate research programs and gained a strong interest in public health and health prevention.

Research Interests:

Jose is interested in maternal and child nutrition, food accessibility, and social determinants of health.

Accomplishments:

Jose is the first individual from his family to go to college and receive a graduate degree.
